2017-18 Buccaneer Weight Training Schedule
Weight room is open right after school every day from 3-4:00pm
We need to make sure we are getting in there at least 3 days per week. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday are the planned days but you may go in the room on Wednesdays and Fridays as well.
The video screen has the work out listed. This is the minimum you should be doing at this point. We will be evaluating and making adjustments to the work out as we move through the winter.
We wanted to let everyone know about the opportunity that has been made available to all middle school football players. The 7th and 8th graders are invited to the High School Fitness Center (Weight Room) to work out twice per week. We are trying to be friendly to those currently in a sport.
Attached is a calendar that will take us through December. The breakdown is basically like this:
This week Monday (short week) 5:30 - 7pm
After the Thanksgiving Break
Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm.
Kids do not need to stay the entire hour and a half. They may arrive, do the set work out and leave. IF they are a little late because they are coming from a practice, that is fine. The workouts are designed to last about 45 minutes or so.
